On April 9, 2022, On Rotation Brewery & Kitchen will celebrate seven years of business with 15 On Rotation beers, rare guest taps, live screen printing, and an outdoor lawn game spread that would make your tailgate buddies jealous.
Co-founded in 2015 by husband and wife Jacob and Lindsay Sloan, On Rotation has grown from a beer and wine-only craft beer bar to a full-fledged brewpub. The couple moved the business from the original location in Lakewood near White Rock Lake to their new home at the Braniff Centre amidst the pandemic, opening at the Braniff Centre in June of 2021.
The new, larger location allowed them to expand the brewery, build a patio, and add a full kitchen, serving up fried chicken – gluten-free fried chicken, in fact.
While Lindsay and Jacob originally brewed all of On Rotation creations, the expanded operation has grown and is now run by brewmaster Dan Heinzerling, who brings 20+ years of brewing experience to the brewpub’s small batch works.
The party on Saturday, April 9, is meant to serve as both an anniversary party and the unofficial grand opening for On Rotation’s location at the Braniff Centre, which never got a proper celebration amidst the opening festivities and COVID-19 restrictions.
On Rotation will have 15 of their own beers on tap, including two brand new releases and a slate of beers brewed in collaboration with other local breweries. The kitchen will be in operation but with a more limited menu to accommodate the larger crowds expected.
The brewpub will also be taking over the patio and outdoor front lawn with a host of lawn games to keep guests occupied – and competitive – throughout the day.
With live screen printing, new beers, and plenty to celebrate, the party starts on Saturday at 12 PM and goes all the way until the taproom closes at 12 AM. There is no ticket required to attend, and it should be a great time for all.
