On Rotation Brewery & Kitchen is part small batch brewery and part craft beer bar with 40 ever-rotating taps of craft beer, cider, and hard seltzer, a select wine list, beer and seltzer cocktails and a full kitchen serving gluten-free fried chicken and scratch kitchen sides.
On Rotation is the creation of Jacob and Lindsay Sloan, who found a passion for craft beer that evolved into a passion for homebrewing as the couple spent many weekends brewing beer in their driveway and dreaming up what would eventually become On Rotation.
The Sloans “craft beer laboratory” approach comes from their love of recipe development and trying new flavor combinations. As homebrewers, they rarely brewed the same beer back-to-back. They preferred to put a new spin on a beer they’d brewed previously or try an entirely new style or flavor combination to see what the results would be.
On Rotation’s own brews are crafted on a 3BBL brew system (approximately 90 gallons at a time) where flavors and ingredients are possible that just aren’t feasible in a larger scale brewery facility. On Rotation’s brews are crafted drop by drop.
As a result of their small batches, the beers are always fresh and can run out quickly. The On Rotation crew complements their own beers by also featuring a collection of guest taps, ciders, and wines across a spectrum of tastes. You’ll find a robust selection of craft beer and cider from across Dallas, North Texas, and abroad on the guest taps, allowing On Rotation to balance the board while brewing without limitations.
Inspired by the brewpub culture of the northwest, On Rotation’s brewpub model is designed to appeal to all levels of craft beer enthusiast, from the experienced craft beer drinker or homebrewer to those just starting their journey into craft beer or curious what they might like.
On Rotation’s team prides itself on making craft beer approachable and seeing that each customer leaves knowing something more about the beer they love.
Pushing the limits and tweaking typical styles, On Rotation releases one-off creations, unusual concoctions, and seasonal beers weekly. Upcoming releases and events are always posted to On Rotation’s event calendar. Subscribe to On Rotation’s email newsletter to always be in the know.
On Rotation is well-known for several “more than seasonal” brews, including their famous Jalapeño Saison, rotating IPA series Flocculation of Seagulls, and the Café Au Lait Chicory Coffee Milk Stout, but there’s always something new coming out of the brewery to add to the mix.
Most of On Rotation’s beers are never seen outside of their taproom, but the taproom offers beer-to-go in package form as 16oz cans or 32oz crowler cans or growlers that can be filled on demand when ordered.
