On Rotation is a hybrid concept, part small batch brewery and part craft beer bar with 40 always rotating taps to enjoy in the taproom or take home in a crowler or growler. On Rotation’s “craft beer laboratory” feel was designed to appeal to all levels of craft beer enthusiast, from the experienced craft beer drinker or homebrewer to those just starting their journey into craft beer.

Inspired by the brewpub culture of the northwest, On Rotation offers explosively experimental flavors you may never see outside of the taproom. Working from a 3BBL brew system and a smaller pilot system, new beer releases at On Rotation may be as limited as a single keg, but these small brews allow for more manipulation, careful aging, and quality ingredients to get the flavor just right.

Pushing the limits and tweaking typical styles, On Rotation releases new one-off creations, unusual concoctions, and seasonal beers each week.

Founded by Jacob and Lindsay Sloan, On Rotation is a product of their homebrewing and craft beer passion. Hatched in their own driveway where they brewed over a propane burner, On Rotation was meant to leverage the agility of a small brew system to surprise and delight its guests with new and creative beers while a constantly rotating guest tap list provides a little something for everyone and some additional excitement for the new beer seekers.

You’ll find a robust selection of craft beer and cider from across Dallas, North Texas, and abroad on the guest taps, allowing On Rotation to balance the board while brewing without limitations. A select wine list is also available in the taproom, and a detailed menu with tasting notes and descriptions is available at the bar or online for those that want to do their beer research before tasting.

With its close proximity to White Rock Lake, On Rotation feels like an escape from the city without being too far from the action. With plenty of seating, couches, TVs, a long concrete bar, and games, it’s comfortable for couples and large groups alike.

On Rotation is well-known for several “more than seasonal” brews, including Jalapeño Saison, Flocculation of Seagulls, and Café Au Lait Chicory Coffee Milk Stout. Each day, the team at On Rotation works to build on that list by regularly churning out something new and exciting for the taprooom.
