“It is August, which means today is a new beer in the P1 Six Pack. It is launching right now. They are tapping it as we speak. This is the Nothing Wrong With That West Coast Pilsner!”
“What a great name.”
“From On Rotation Brewery in Kitchen. So, if you know where it is, head on over there. As a matter of fact, go have lunch there because the food is awesome.”
“But On Rotation is right off of Lemmon. Like, if you’re going Mockingbird, you go north on Lemmon. It’s in between Mockingbird and Northwest Highway. It is right smack dab next to Love Field. I mean, right next to it.”
“And On Rotation Brewery & Kitchen is such a great place. Really cool concept. They have their own beers, but they also have a bunch of other beers on tap.”
“And their food, I go there sometimes. Get the chicken sandwich and their fried okra, and you’re going to enjoy yourself.”
“So this is the Nothing Wrong With That West Coast Pils. And they are actually packaging this beer. They’re putting it in cans. So you can go grab some cams for the weekend, you can get a growler, or drink it on-site.”
“5.8% alcohol by volume. And this is…so West Coast Pils, basically this is a beer that was lagered, that is a pilsner, but they hop it with West Coast hops. So instead of being like a German style Pilsner, or even like a Czech Pilsner with Saaz hops, or German would use noble hops, they hopped this with Vista, Comet and Strata hops.”
“And so this is going to be a light beer. You’ll get that pilsner malt base on this, but you’ll also get some fresh citrus, maybe a little bit of tangerine and pear with a little bit of pine.”
“So, when P1s, when you go in and order this, all you got to say is Nothing Wrong With That!”
“And you have to see it just like that, too, right?”
“Alright, so give it a sip and see what you think.”
“Oooh, I like what they did with the West Coast side of this. Yeah, like that.”
“Yeah, because you get the pilsner lightness of it, but the aroma and the flavor of the hops come through as well, almost like a West Coast IPA, but not as dank and not as resin-y on the backside.”
“No, and that’s a good thing. Yeah.”
“And if you’re looking at the ABV, another good thing, especially summertime. Right, right. And the fact that you can, you know, a lot of people, you know, I’m one of them. I hesitate on the on the pils for taste reasons. And this gives you all the taste that you might be missing otherwise. Yeah. In a way that if you’re an IPA guy, you know, you’re going to love this.”
“And, if you’re not and you want something with a little bit of a lighter palate, I think you can enjoy this as well. I really enjoy this beer, man. I have one last night.”
“And you were right about that, the taste and all that, but it just doesn’t stay with you. Smooth, man.”
“Again, that is Nothing Wrong With That West Coast Pils. That is the name of the beer. Nothing Wrong With That!”
“It is on tap right now at On Rotation Brewery & Kitchen. Go north on Lemmon Ave. off Mockingbird. It is right next to Love Field airport. And they’re ready to have it. And they are labeling cans as we speak.”
“And the one thing about this, you’ll know what can it is because my face is right on that. How about that? It’s a really cool label. And I’ll put this up on my Instagram. I’ll show you a picture of what it’s going to look like so that you guys can be looking for that.”
…
“And, you know, but that On Rotation beer, of course, they overnighted me the beer so that I could get it as fresh as possible for this segment. So the Nothing Wrong With That is more than available in the DFW area, but only at On Rotation!”
…
“On Rotation, man. That’s the place to try and make it this weekend. It’ll be on tap all month long. It is the Nothing Wrong With That West Coast Pills, the new beer in the P1 Six Pack from On Rotation Brewery & Kitchen,, right by Love Field airport.”
“So get out there and try that this weekend. And I love the fact they’re putting it in cans. So if you don’t have a growler, you don’t want to mess with that. Right when you walk in, they have a refrigerator. And you will see that beer. You can grab some and take it home this weekend, which will be great. We’re looking forward to that.”
…
“Um, that, that original, uh, or the first, the pils, um, that has the West Coast thing going on. That’s a really unique, hard to find blend of a beer. Yeah, you don’t see a lot of those.”
“I love that they’re doing that. Yeah, that’s awesome. On Rotation, go get it!”
