On Rotation Brewery & Kitchen is part small batch brewery, part craft beer bar, and part restaurant with 40 ever-rotating taps of craft beer, cider, and hard seltzer, a select wine list, beer and seltzer cocktails, and a full kitchen serving gluten-free fried chicken and scratch kitchen sides.
On Rotation was founded by Jacob and Lindsay Sloan, who discovered a passion for craft beer that evolved into a passion for homebrewing as the couple spent many weekends brewing beer in their driveway and dreaming up what would eventually become On Rotation.
The Sloan’s “craft beer laboratory” approach comes from their love of recipe development and trying new flavor combinations. As homebrewers, they rarely brewed the same beer more than once. They preferred to put a new spin on a beer they’d brewed previously or try an entirely new style or flavor combination to see what the results would be.
On Rotation’s own brews are crafted drop by drop on a three-barrel (3BBL) brew system (approximately 90 gallons at a time) where they can work with flavors and ingredients that just aren’t feasible in a larger-scale brewery facility.
As a result of their small batch size, On Rotation’s in-house beers are always fresh and moving quickly through the taps. The On Rotation crew complements their beers by featuring a collection of guest taps, ciders, and wines across a spectrum of tastes. You’ll find a robust selection of craft beer and cider from across Dallas, North Texas, and abroad on the guest taps, which gives On Rotation the ability to curate a balanced tap list while brewing without limitations.
Inspired by the brewpub culture of the northwest, On Rotation’s approach to brewing and curating guest taps is designed to appeal to all levels of craft beer enthusiasts, from the experienced craft beer drinker or homebrewer to those not sure of what they might like.
Jacob and Lindsay pride themselves on making craft beer approachable at On Rotation and seeing that each customer leaves knowing something more about the beer they love.
Pushing the limits and tweaking typical styles, On Rotation releases their new brews weekly. Upcoming releases and events are always shared via On Rotation’s event calendar. Subscribe to On Rotation’s email updates to always be in the know.
On Rotation is well-known for several “more than seasonal” brews, including their famous Jalapeño Saison, rotating IPA series Flocculation of Seagulls, and the Café Au Lait Chicory Coffee Milk Stout, but there’s always something new coming out of the brewery to add to the mix.
Most of On Rotation’s beers are only available in the taproom on Lemmon Avenue, but beer-to-go is available in 16oz cans, 4-packs, 32oz crowler cans, or growlers filled on demand.
