This cold weather deserves a cold weather beer.

We locally soaked Texas pecans from Everett & Elaine in Addison, Texas in Lockwood Distilling‘s Straight Bourbon Whiskey, out of Richardson, Texas, for two days before adding them to this deep copper brown ale and its sweet roasted caramel. With time to intermingle with the beer itself, the sweet pecan and bourbon notes were pulled out of the pecans themselves and into the liquid. The result is a light beer with the taste of Bourbon pecan pie.

Local and delicious, this brown ale will be on tap Thursday, December 1, to kick off the holiday season.
