In celebration of North Texas Giving Day, which is on Thursday, we’ll be donating 10% of On Rotation sales to our friends at Friends of Bachman Lake this Wednesday. Always better to be early, right?
Friends of Bachman Lake was founded in 2019 with the mission of protecting and improving Dallas’ open spaces in and around Bachman Lake, just north of On Rotation on Lemmon Avenue.
Bachman Lake was originally constructed in 1903 by damming the Bachman Branch of the Trinity River Elm Fork and creating a 205-acre water source for Dallas residents.
The lake is located on the northern border of Dallas Love Field Airport and is the third-largest body of water in the City of Dallas.
Fun fact: It hosts more daily visitors than Klyde Warren Park.
Can’t make it to the brewpub today? You can also donate directly online.
What is North Texas Giving Day?
