The OGs might remember a variant of Max Cherry we released called Max Cherry Limeade back in 2020. That version was one we crafted by infusing limes live as the beer was poured.

It was only available for a few days in our taproom in Lakewood as a very, very small batch. We were refreshing the limes constantly. But a legend was created that day.

Max Cherry Limeade, to this day, is one of the most requested beers for us to bring back.

So it’s back. Today.

This time around, we did a full run of Max Cherry Limeade with the limes and dark sweet cherries both added during the brewing process along with a pinch of lactose.

That balance of sweet, sour, and citrus is just right. Please bring your own Sonic ice!

Pouring a vivid red, this light sour ale brewed in the mold of a Berliner Weisse and layered with bushels and bushels of dark sweet cherries and fresh, punchy lime is tart and fruit-forward. The sweetness of the cherries provides a delightful balance to the puckering, dry sourness of the beer and limes.
