In seven years of brewing, we’ve never made a kölsch. So we thought it was about time.
Straw in color with a rocky white head, this light German-style ale is our first-ever take on the Kölsch style. It’s effervescent with a soft breadiness to the flavor, a floral, somewhat spicy hop aroma, and a touch of bitterness in the finish.
The name comes from the Kreutzer Air Coach, an American-built light transport aircraft built in the 1920s.
