Just in time for Cinco de Mayo, we’re proud to welcome our take on the style, Blue Agave, back to the taps!

When we set out to make this brew, we knew we wanted to include a couple of signature ingredients to make it stand out in a crowd. First, we added blue agave nectar in addition to corn to add to its complexity. The nectar provides some floral undertones and just a hint of smokiness.

And, once we added blue agave nectar, we really thought this beer needed to be blue. So we added butterfly pea flower, an all-natural food coloring that turns this beer a lovely grayish blue.

But that’s not its only trick. Wait until you add a squeeze of lime!
