One Kilt Wonder, brewed once upon a time in the summer of 2023, was just a wee little release, a smaller than small batch when it first touched our taps. The rest we aged in a bourbon barrel for special occasions.

But the peat and smoke of that original batch stuck with us. We missed it, and we always thought “hey, could it put out a banger with its second single?”

Well, we have to try.

Strong, dark, and rich with a bready, caramel malt character, One Kilt Wonder features a bit of smoked malt to amplify the rich, roasty peat flavor you appreciate in a scotch ale. Toffee and dried dark berry notes bring a little bright sweetness to the otherwise earthy profile.

This is no wee lad of a beer, coming in at 9.8% ABV. So One Kilt is best enjoyed one sip at a time.

One Kilt Wonder will be on tap by 2 PM.
